About Me

Welcome to Physics of the Quest!
If you don’t feel the need to read about my life, then I suggest you navigate away from this page now. It’s about to get super boring…

My name is Chelsea, and I’m a 25 year old writer, wife, and mother living in the middle of cows and cornfields in Iowa (well, not quite that literally, but I’m close enough to cows). I’m a native Hoosier (from Indiana, for all of the sad people that don’t know), and moved to Iowa with my family just before my junior year of high school. Iowa didn’t scare me off, so I stayed to complete my higher education at Central College in Pella, Iowa.

My life recently had a HUGE change in the form of my son, Miles, being born. He is a complete cutie (and he has a great set of lungs). My wonderful husband, Curt, and I are figuring out this parenting thing one step at a time.

The rest of my life mainly consists of working...exciting stuff.

This blog was started in January 2010 when I went on my college’s study abroad program to London. It was a way for me to communicate with my family and friends and to keep them up to date on my daily activities. When I came home, I realized how much I truly enjoy blogging even if no one really reads it.

I had the time of my life in Europe, visiting such places as France, Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, and various cities in England. My study abroad experience really inspired me to continue writing about the things I have seen as well as my daily activities in Iowa (albeit, they are slightly boring).

My goals in life include (in no particular order): travel…I don’t care where, I just want to go; get married and have a family; perfecting my sarcasm; become an editor/writer; skydive/bungee jump (if I pluck up the courage to do so); live life to the fullest (clichéd, but true).

Congratulations! You now know more about me that you ever really cared to know. If you feel the need to know more, you can check me out on Twitter (which I don't really update)! Happy blogging!
